Dream Dates
Life is for living and I love going on adventures and making memories. Whilst I do a huge amount on my own, or with my dog Ernest, its always nice to share an experience. These suggestions give a window to my joys and interests, but I am also open to your own suggestions.
Take me out: Social Dates
£120 per hour (minimum 3 hour) / £70 per hour if combined with a session.
Mini Adventures
Food and Conversation
Good food is the way to my heart. My preference is the little independents, quirky dining experiences, vegetarian food, delicious pastries but I don’t drink so no vin yard dining needed.
Theatre or Comedy
We are blessed to have so many amazing shows. I love an opportunity to be fully absorbed in great theatre or a giggly night out.
New Hiking Trail
As a nature lover and keen walker, I will be in my element walking a new route, exploring, perhaps an impromptu dip in the river, or the euphoria of reaching the summit with those fabulous views. Perfect opportunity to natter and get to know each other as we walk.
Book Shop Dash
You know I read a huge amount and always need new books. A trip to a bookshop (bonus points if its got a cafe and is independent), a bookshop crawl, or the fun game of a bookshop dash. For those not in the know a dash is when you give a set amount of time to browse (say 5min), then a set time to gather as many books as I can (say 2min) – whatever I gather, you purchase for me. It can be a mad, funny experience in a huge shop, and very expensive in a tiny bookshop…you have been warned. At least I will be beaming with my book haul.
Board Game Cafe
Old fashioned fun, wide selection of games, drink, chat, and battle on the board instead of the mats.
Pretty Woman Experience
Who doesn’t love the thought of an open shopping trip to indulge in all their favourite shops? Set budget or open budget we can explore, try on, and share my delight. Nice to combine with lunch or cafe visit.
Opera
To be fully absorbed by the music and theatre of a great opera is a gift. Be it at Grange Park, Royal Opera House or another, I am often moved to tears by the beauty.
Golf Practice
A test of your patience as I’m still learning and very much a beginner but I really enjoy the practice and welcome any tips so this could be your opportunity to show me your skills
Spa Day
A day to unwind, massage, sauna, pool. Nice food, books and conversation. Bliss
Zip Lining in North Wales
My inner adrenaline junkie would love the thrill of an adventure day zip lining, river tubing, white water rafting…raise my heartbeat
Dino Snores – booked for May 🙂
Once in a blue moon the Natural History Museum holds dino snore events where you can camp overnight surrounded by the exhibits.
Animal 1:1 Experiences at Wildlife Parks or Zoos
My first choice would be an armadillo but I love all animals (spiders I am still learning to love but appreciate their need to exist)
Big Adventures
Dog Sledding in Scandinavia
I adore dogs and though not so keen on being cold, I have plenty of thermals. The thought of a cabin in the woods, dog sledding, skidoo trip, sauna and if the skies are kind the magical Aurora is heavenly to me.
Witness Mass Migration of Crabs on Christmas Island
This is just ones of my random life dreams, if you make it happen I will be over the moon
Camp under the stars on safari
I’ve heard so many tales of hyenas eyes watching in the pitch black. I want to feel the goosebumps of excitement and fear whilst being under a blanket of stars
Volunteering at an animal rescue
I often go to a dog rescue in Portugal and have been told of a lovely dog rescue in Crete. There is an elephant and dog rescue in Thailand. Your hardest challenge will be stopping me adopting one
A new country
I’ve travelled quite a lot but still have quite a few on my bucket list including Japan, Costa Rica, Mexico, Madeira. Or return trips to favourites like Denmark and Iceland
